綺麗に包装されて届きました。だいすきな心に残る映画だったので、こうして手元にあっていつでも見られるようになり嬉しいです！画質はイマイチに感じました。BluRayじゃないとだめなのかな…届くのも早くて嬉しかったです。宝物にします。🌟

The Backstory:
In the grand tradition of P.T. Barnum himself, this film is an unabashed celebration of showmanship, dreams, and the extraordinary. Directed with verve and panache by Michael Gracey, it’s a kaleidoscope of color, music, and heartwarming performances. And oh, those songs! Composed by the Oscar- and Tony-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (the same geniuses behind “La La Land” and “Dear Evan Hansen”), they’re like earworms that burrow into your soul and refuse to let go.
The Ringmaster:
Hugh Jackman dons the red impresario’s coat and top hat, striding into the center ring with the swagger of a lion tamer. His Barnum is a dreamer, a hustler, and a believer in the impossible. From the opening number, “The Greatest Show,” he beckons us with a wink and a promise: “Just surrender cuz you feel the feeling taking over!” And surrender we do, willingly, without reservation.
A Million Dreams:
Young Barnum (played by the talented Ellis Rubin) befriends Charity Hallett (the delightful Skylar Dunn), a well-bred girl who shares his hunger for something more. Together, they dream of creating their own destiny—a million dreams woven from starlight and sawdust. Their chemistry is as sweet as cotton candy, and you’ll find yourself rooting for them like a kid cheering for the tightrope walker.
The Circus of Misfit Toys:
Barnum’s circus isn’t just about acrobats and fire-eaters. It’s a haven for the misfits—the ones society deemed odd, peculiar, or downright magical. Imagine a parade of characters: the bearded lady who belts out tunes, the trapeze artist with wings made of courage, and the tattooed man who wears his stories on his skin. They’re all here, dancing under the big top, proving that life’s greatest spectacle is acceptance.
