　書籍版で読んでいく20年遅れの爺さんのレビューであります。
　前作が魔法世界の設定とガジェットの描写がめまぐるしく、登場人物も多いのに比べ、今回は楽に話についていける。第1巻の内容を忘れている読者のために、くりかえして説明される部分もある。
　作者のJ.K. Rowlingさんは、前作は出版のめどもなく、孤独に原稿を書いていたわけだが、今作は大ヒットの後で気持ちも楽になったようだ。読者の反応もあり、編集者の協力もあっただろう。謎解きの物語として、すっきりまとまっている。

　など新しい登場キャラのドタバタやコミカルな口調が楽しめる。 Rowlingさんは、パスティーシュというか役割言葉の使い方がうまい作家で、このほかのキャラのしゃべりかたも楽しめる。笑って読んでいると、実は重要な伏線だったりする。

　さて、全7巻のシリーズとしては、まだ序の口であるが、このシリーズはひじょうに緻密に構成されており、各巻順番に読んでいかないと話についていけない。つまり、途中から読むのは、ほとんど不可能でしょう。シリーズの雰囲気は徐々に変わっていくが、はじめのほうの明るいストーリーも読まないと、全体の構成は理解できませんので、第1巻から読んでいくべし。

nachdem mich der erste Band von J.K. Rowlings "Harry Potter" Serie in seinen Bann gezogen hatte, konnte ich es kaum erwarten, mich in die Fortsetzung zu stürzen. "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" enttäuschte mich keineswegs und erwies sich als eine weitere zauberhafte Reise in die Welt der Magie.

Fesselnder Schreibstil: ★★★★★

J.K. Rowlings Schreibstil ist erneut fesselnd und einfallsreich. Ihre Fähigkeit, detaillierte Welten zu erschaffen und lebendige Charaktere zu formen, ist bewundernswert. Die Beschreibungen der magischen Orte wie der Winkelgasse oder des Verbotenen Waldes lassen die Leserinnen und Leser in die fantastische Welt von Harry Potter eintauchen.

Spannende Handlung: ★★★★★

Die Handlung des zweiten Bands ist ebenso mitreißend wie im ersten Teil.
